Blog with friends (and beer) this Wednesday

It’s been quiet around here since the end of WordCamp Birmingham last month and it was about time to change that.

As mentioned when we wrapped up last month, there will be a few of us gathering for beers with our laptops and our questions this Wednesday, October 20, from 6-8 p.m.

We’ll be at Birmingham’s newest watering hole for high gravity brew, Pale Eddie’s Pour House | directions. This is where Sunday’s WordCamp Birmingham activities were scheduled to take place.

Note that we’re not calling it Beer and Blog – yet. One of the goals for Wednesday’s gathering is to start gauging interest in holding a weekly event where bloggers can help other bloggers with any problems they may have – from content creation to issues with plugins and platforms. We’d also get to join all of the other cities listed in the sidebar of that linked two sentences back

For those wondering – a page will be created tomorrow including links to available presentations and videos from this year’s WordCamp. It would have been up late last week but there was a delay that was beyond our control.
