It’s time to start getting ready for WordCamp Birmingham 2010! This means it’s time to find reasons to get together and drink tons of coffee. The first such meeting will take place on June 16, 2010 at The Red Cat!

It was only a matter of time before we had to announce this year’s WordCamp Birmingham dates. Here they are and some hints of what’s to come…

For those folks still awake as the clock nears 2 a.m., a reminder that WordCamp Birmingham starts later this morning at Innovation Depot. Registration will begin at approximately 8 a.m. with remarks in the atrium starting at 9 a.m.

For folks that will be in town on Friday night, you may want to check out some of the other events taking place around town.
You may also want to meet up with some of the folks that are already in Birmingham and attending for a pre-camp get together at Jim N Nick’s in the Five [...]

We’re excited to be announcing our closing keynote speaker for WordCamp Birmingham 2009 – MideastYouth.com’s founder Esra’a El Shafei!

We’re happy to announce that we’ve secured our location for Saturday’s events!
We’ll be at the Innovation Depot, located in downtown Birmingham’s Entrepreneurial District. As mentioned before, Sunday’s events will take place at Shift Workspace.

WordCamp Birmingham 2009 is on!
We’re excited to announce that this year’s edition will take place on September 26 & 27, 2009 in downtown Birmingham. Our “home” Sunday’s events will be held in a new coworking facility in town called Shift WorkSpace.
